Make your Own Daily Goals Checklist

You can use Ken's Study Planner as an electronic version of your daily goals checklist, or print a paper-based checklist booklet with my template.

Electronic Version - Ken's Study Planner

This tutorial is going to teach you how to register and use Ken's Study Planner app. Scroll down if you want to use paper-based checklist.

1. Open Study Planner Website

My study planner is on planner.kenstudyjourney.com. Click on the link to open the app.

Be sure to bookmark the page. You will need to use it every day to fill in your goals situations.

Please Note: Internet Explorer is not supported on Ken's Study Planner. Please use the latest browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari.

2. Sign Up for an Account

Scroll down and click "Sign Up" button. Read the privacy notice carefully and click "Agree and Continue".

Fill in your details such as email address, password and name. Check your email inbox and fill in your verification code. Then click "Sign Up".

After that, click "Sign in" and sign in to your account.

3. Fill in your Goals

Click "Daily Goals Checklist" on the sidebar. Then click "Set/Modify Goals".

Fill in your goals for this month, then click "Submit".

Note: You need to set goals every month. You can adjust your goals when necessary.

4. Fill in Situations

In the evening every day, you need to fill in your situations whether you achieved your goals.

Click "Daily Goals Checklist" on the sidebar. Then click "Record Situations".

Choose today's date. Choose Yes, No or Unachievable. In some special cases, you can choose Unachievable if you could not achieve your goal. Then click "Submit".

Note: If you forgot to fill in your situations several days before. It will display a reminder and you can fill them later by choosing the corresponding date.

5. Monthly Summary

At the end of each month, click "Monthly Summary" to see the achievement rate of each goal. You can see the summary at any time.

Paper Version

You will need: A4 or A5 Papers, Microsoft/WPS Word, a Printer.

1. Download and Unzip Template

First, download my template from my server.

2. Choose your Language and Fill in your Goals

My resources are provided with English (_en), Chinese (_zh) or both (_en_zh) languages.

Choose the language suffix and open the Word file. Fill in your goals at the appropriate place.

You may remove my brandings like my Logo, QR code and website on the cover.

3. Print out the Checklist

The Word document is designed for A5 papers. You can print on A4 or A5 papers.

Choose the correct size in your printer settings, and print out the papers.

Note: Each booklet can be used for a month. You need to print your checklists again at the end of each month or your booklet is used up.

4. Fill in your Situations

In the evening every day, you need to fill in your situations whether you achieved your goals.

Follow the instructions in the booklet. Fill in a tick, cross or a circle.

5. Monthly Summary

At the end of each month, use the summary card at the end of the booklet, using the formula displayed.

If you need additional summary cards, you may print out the summary card file.
